A Vision for Your Voice

As Voiceover Artists, we are in the business of using our voices as our craft, but also having clear 'vision' can help. Caryn Clark , the Hip Chick Voice, describes an interesting way to use 'vision' to help you succeed and be grateful for what you have through use of a 'Vision Board'.

I found this interesting because for some time now I have hung pictures of a number of my favorite and highly successful voiceover artists, athletes, musicians, and friends, in my studio that I look at daily for motivation. By surrounding myself with pictures and images of positive and successful people who have reached heights that I aspire to obtain, I have found that I stay focused and gain more confidence in my own abilities striving to obtain that same level of success. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to compare my current level of talent to those on the "A" list, but in knowing that they were once at this very same point in their budding careers sure helps to motivate me to use the same desire and perseverance as they did to succeed.

What do you do to enhance your 'vision' to succeed?
